Avoid Blood Thinners: Steer clear of aspirin, ibuprofen, and other blood thinners for about a week before appointment to minimize risk of bruising
Limit Alcohol Intake: Refrain from drinking alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment to help reduce swelling and bruising.
Bruising and swelling will likely occur — apply arnica and ice for no more than 5 minutes to help with swelling.
Avoid makeup or any topicals beyond arnica and aquaphor for at least 24 hours post treatment.
Filler typically lasts 6-12 months.
