Contour TRL (Tunable Resurfacing Laser) is Alani Skin MD’s most advanced and powerful resurfacing laser, designed to treat deeper wrinkles, significant sun damage, and more substantial skin texture concerns that lighter treatments can’t fully address. It works by removing damaged skin layers and stimulating a powerful collagen response for dramatic skin renewal and tightening.
Contour TRL is the most aggressive resurfacing option in Alani’s laser lineup, delivering deeper, full-surface skin removal for patients with more advanced aging, significant wrinkles, or extensive sun damage. CO2 is similarly aggressive but uses a different platform. Halo combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths for a more moderate result. ProFractional targets specific zones fractionally. Contour TRL is best suited for patients ready to commit to meaningful downtime in exchange for the most dramatic single-treatment skin transformation available.

It’s one of the most sought-after treatments in the Scottsdale area for patients who want the most comprehensive non-surgical skin renewal available. Contour TRL is a high-intensity treatment that requires meaningful recovery time — plan for approximately 7–14 days of healing depending on the depth of treatment. During this window the skin will be red, raw, and actively renewing. Most patients take time away from social and professional obligations during the initial healing period. Full results develop over several months as new collagen continues to remodel.
